Teacher Appreciation Post

So I complain a lot about the academics here and the university and such, but our new Marketing lecturer is great so I thought she deserved a post because she is what's right about this school.
She's our 3rd lecturer for Marketing 201 and her name is Sandy.
So I drag myself to class on Wednesday (4/27, this post is being posted a bit later due to a lineup of other posts). My class before was cancelled because we had a major paper due, so I literally had to leave my bed and my room to go all the way to the business building for 1 hour of class with another new professor. But I'm a good student so I did it anyways.
So she opens up the class by saying (and I quote) "I'll be your cruise director for the rest of the voyage". WHAT. CAN YOU REPEAT THAT. CRUISE DIRECTOR. VOYAGE. Dude it's like your speakin right to me, reading my hearts most desire (yeah I'm not kidding on that cruise addiction front). Like woah, now you've got my attention. Go on.
So she's wearing a leather jacket, flare jeans (really the only kind I can stand), heeled booties, and she has blonde hair. It's like me of the future. It's pretty rockin tbh.
So then we had class and it was probably normal. It's like 1am so I don't really remember but she was cool.
Then today, Friday (4/29), second class with her, she spends THE ENTIRE CLASS complaining about Vodafone!! Like dude! I feel you!! I hate Vodafone! & if I was a teacher I would totally spend the entire 2 hour lecture letting all my students know that Vodafone sucks and complaining about them (or complaining about whatever really). Like I feel you. We are so on the same wavelength here. Like way to be a good teacher.
Also I feel it's important to note that I am not being sarcastic. Not only am I mostly totally awful at sarcasm, both understanding and trying to produce, I'm being 100% legit here. It's actually great.
She was also wearing another leather jacket, but a different color. Like yo. Yes.
And now, let me go to her name. It's Sandy. Like a beach. Beaches have sand. I love beaches. What a great name. Like I wish all teachers were like this one. Finally a teacher I can relate to.
I wonder if she'll last more than the other lecturers.
Hope so.
Until next time,
xoxo,
Tasha
